The Braun ThermoScan 6 is newer than the ThermoScan 7. However, it is a scaled-down version of the ThermoScan 7 and like an intermediate stage between the ThermoScan 5 and ThermoScan 7.

You have to do without the Age Precision technology here. In addition, you get only one instead of 9 memory locations for the last measurements.

However, the Braun ThermoScan 6 is also equipped with an illuminated display and a preheated tip. You even get a colored classification of the measurement temperature as well. However, this is independent of the age, which makes the Age Precision technology.

Which Braun ThermoScan should you buy?

If you're buying new, I'd recommend the Braun ThermoScan 7*. With it you get most of the features and have a very comfortable condition. The price is only slightly higher than for the ThermoScan 6.

If you want to save a little you are also well served with the ThermoScan 5. In contrast to the ThermoScan 6, the price of offers for the ThermoScan 5* is really cheaper. Here you do without the lighting as well as the Age Precision technology, which gives you the temperature directly on the device eingestuft.

The ThermoScan 3* is still available for purchase. However, I would not recommend this device if you are buying new, as the ThermoScan 5* is more accurate. If you have a ThermoScan 3, it may also be worth switching.
