Fitbit 2019 - The new models There have been a few guesses about Fitbit's new products in 2019. Now there are official announcements from Fitbit and dates in March for new fitness trackers.

These are the new Fitbit models 2019

Let's take a look at the new models that Fitbit 2019 has brought to market.

Fitbit Versa Lite

The Fitbit Versa is already a well-known smartwatch from Fitbit. The clock has arrived well in 2018 and in 2019 there is now a new version of the Versa. The Versa Lite*, a smaller version of the Versa.

Fitbit Versa 2

After the Versa Lite, which didn't seem to be a great success, Fitbit brings the Versa 2*. The focus here is on a built-in microphone, which is used for Alexa voice control and answering via voice message. However, the clock doesn't have a loudspeaker, which limits the function a bit.

You can take a detailed look at the comparison of the Fitbit Versa and Fitbit Versa 2.

Fitbit Inspire and Inspire HR

Furthermore, Fitbit has added a completely new family to its product range. However, the Fitbit Inspire is not completely new. The model was available before, but was not available to everyone. The Fitbit Inspire was previously only available for companies that wanted to motivate their employees with Fitness Tracker.

The Fitbit Inspire combines Fitbit Flex, Zip and Alta. With this, the new family replaces the three models. The old models are available at Fitbit even no longer to buy. In terms of price, the Inspire is part of the Alta and Alta HR. Further details can be found in the comparison between Fitbit Alta HR and Inspire HR.

The Inspire is available with and without pulse measurement. The pulse measurement offers only the model Inspire HR. From my point of view, only the Fitbit Inspire HR* is relevant. In addition to the pulse measurement there are a few more differences between the Fitbit Inspire and Inspire HR, which speak for the version with HR function.

The differences between Fitbit Inspire HR and Charge 3 are quite small, making the Inspire HR a small alternative to the older model. In comparison between Charge 2 and Inspire HR the new Fitbit also makes a very good impression and speaks in favor of an upgrade.

Fitbit Ace 2

After a long time, Fitbit has something for the little ones among us. The fitness tracker for children comes in the second generation - Fitbit Ace 2*. So far, Garmin has had its nose on kids' fitness trackers. With the new fitness tracker for children, the manufacturer has significantly improved as we see in the comparison between Fitbit Ace and Ace 2.

Announced: Fitbit Ionic 2

Unfortunately only an announcement without appointment, but Fitbit has spoken of a new version of the Fitbit Ionic. The Ionic is Fitbit's only model, which has a built-in GPS module. So it's Fitbit's elite model as well. For 2019, the Ionic 2 is expected. Probably only towards the end of the year.

Fitbit Tracker comparisons, recommendations and opinions

With new Fitbits the question arises again and again whether the new purchase is worthwhile. Also, many are thinking about upgrading from an old Fitbit to a new model. In addition we get many inquiries and also have the answers. Yes, that's perfectly true. The Fitbit Surge also has GPS. However, the model is very old and no longer really relevant. Nevertheless thanks for your comment and the addition :)
